Vision Again Ranks High Among Region’s Top IT Consulting Firms

April 16, 2009

Vision places 7th on 2008 Baltimore Business Journal List
Once again in 2008, Vision Technology Services is the seventh largest IT consulting firm in the metropolitan Baltimore market according the 2008 “Book of Lists” recently published by the Baltimore Business Journal. The ranking is based on headcount with data provided by the firms.

“We’re thrilled – again,” said Vision co-founder and Vice President of Service Delivery Rob Troska.  ”It’s a great credit to our portfolio of A-class clients and especially to our consultants and the team that supports them. We like to say that growth isn’t a given; it’s a reward for hard work for our commitment to the success of both our consultants and our clients,” he said.

Vision Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Scott Cerasoli noted that while 2008 marked the beginning of the economic slow-down, the company enjoyed a strong performance. He pointed out that of Baltimore’s 10 largest firms are regional offices of national companies.

“We like to compete against the large, national staffing firms,” said Cerasoli.  ”We’ve got a pretty good track record of filling more than our share of client requests for IT team members based on the differences in our approach to recruiting and client service. It helps to know this region like the back of our hand,” he added.
