Supporting Great Charities

Vision is committed to contributing to our community each year through donations and service work. This year, we have decided to participate in two fantastic causes throughout the months of November and December. And in this spirit of giving, Vision has partnered with the Maryland Food Bank and Toys for Tots.
Maryland Food Bank Food Drive: The Maryland Food Bank was founded in 1979 to address the needs of people who require food assistance throughout the state. Through many different programs, the Maryland Food Bank provides food to more than 235,000 Marylanders in need. Through their efforts, as well as the organizations that partner with them, the Maryland Food Bank is leading the fight to end hunger in Maryland. The variety and amount of food the Maryland Food Bank provides allows food providers to plan balanced nutritious meals for the hungry in the community.
This November, Vision will assist the Maryland Food Bank in their food gathering efforts. We will be collecting non-perishable foods from November 2nd to November 23rd in our office in Timonium. For more information about how you can participate, please contact Gus Lambros: glambros@vistechs.com.
Toys for Tots Program: Every year the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. The primary goal is to deliver a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. The program strives to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
Vision is excited to partner with the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve this November and December to participate in their Toys for Tots Program! We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from November 30th to December 15th in our office in Timonium.
