Chuck Radford, CPA
Director of Accounting and Technology
Chuck Radford serves as Director of Accounting and Technology and brings to Vision an enormous depth of information technology and financial services experience accumulated since he began in the industry in 1982.
Prior to joining Vision, Chuck was Vice President of Networking Services for TekHost, LLC, a regional technology services firm where he was instrumental in developing their public and private enterprise technology solutions practice. Chuck and his team worked with customers to design, implement and deploy business technology solutions including networking and network security, converged voice and data, Voice-Over-IP, high availability and redundant hardware and software platforms, and wireless services.

Chuck served in the public sector as Assistant Secretary and Chief Information Officer for the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. As a member of the agency’s executive management team, Chuck was responsible for the direction of technology initiatives for the agency as well as for supporting and promoting the business and technology climate for Maryland businesses. He was instrumental in developing technology and web platforms that promoted business attraction and retention throughout Maryland. He served on numerous committees in his role as the agency’s lead technology liaison and worked with state officials in obtaining funding for the agency and its data center in Baltimore. He has received numerous awards during his tenure with the State of Maryland including the Governor’s Award of Appreciation for his role in implementing compliant and secure systems in 2000.
Prior to his work in state government, Chuck was Assistant Vice President of Technology for Maryland National Mortgage Corporation, one of the region’s largest mortgage banking enterprises. His role included management of the corporation’s East Coast network of branches and data center in Baltimore.
Over the course of his career, Chuck has earned numerous industry certifications. He earned his BA from Loyola College in Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Maryland Association of CPAs. He is an avid fisherman and golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.
