Project Manager - Application Development Background
About the position
Vision Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager with a software development background. In addition to managing several projects ranging between $50,000 and $1,000,000, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of developers. Also, you will assist the sales efforts of the firm as a technical engineer on business development meetings.
Qualifications:
4-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience is (Master's degree or equivalent is desirable)
8+ years of increasingly responsible application development experience, with 3+ years experience managing multiple small to mid-size projects or individual large projects
Experience generating new business opportunities and leads with existing and new clients
Experience developing proposals, statements of work, budgets, and schedules for projects and tasks
Experience leading a small team of application and database developers
2+ years Experience with Microsoft .NET (VB, ASP, \# Microsoft Visual Studio, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Experience with RDBMS technology, specifically SQL Server 2000/2005, Microsoft Access 2000/2003 or Oracle
Experience with full Life Cycle development
