SSIS ETL Developer
About the position
Vision Technology Services has an immediate need for an SSIS ETL Developer.
Required:
" Highly qualified Software Engineer with strong knowledge in SDLC methodologies
" BS or MS degree in Computer Sciences
" Strong skills in SQL
" Strong knowledge in ETL tools like Microsoft SSIS, Datastage and Informatica
" Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and DTS packages
" Expertise in creating SQL objects like stored procedures, UDF, triggers, views, CTE, BCP and constraints.
" Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and minimum of five years of experience building business intelligence (BI) or data warehousing solutions.
" Sound understanding of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques
" Extensive experience using SQL while conducting data analysis and outline data dependencies and recommendations
" Expertise in query tuning, index creation, database optimization and troubleshooting using DTA, ITW, Perf monitor utility and SQL Profiler.
" An individual that combines a focus on discipline and experience in large, stable operating environments, with the flexibility necessary to accommodate the changes resulting from a rapidly growing company
" A person of unquestionable integrity with high professional standards and a strong work ethic
